The fuel for this identity comes from how tired I was with people using "culture" as an inspiration for their design. This identity stands for something different.
It's inspired by nature. Something everyday people don't care too much about. I only needed to look around my hometown to find inspiration. Holmestrand is comprised of forests, mountains, and marinas, as it's located by the coast in the Oslofjord.
Wood, rock, and water.
Holmestrand is wilderness meets urban asphalt. Though one of the smaller, and unknown cities in the country I tried my best to do it justice (even though it's just a concept). This was my first attempt at an identity, and it has made an impact on my career. This was, and still is the project where people truly see me for who I am.
I came up with a guide for how to properly use the identity, but it was never completed. However here is a portion that was exported, made public for the first time.
